OLD CITY. This comfortable little shop is a great place to "fuel up" in the AM if you plan to tackle the popular Constitutional Walking Tour. Aside from all your favorite coffee drinks (good energizers, to be sure), Caramel also has some dandy, homemade tide-me-overs like Belgian chocolate bars, cookies and candies. In the afternoon, the menu changes a bit, offering terrific panini, specialty sandwiches, salads and soups. And while those are all tasty in their own right, you'd be remiss if you didn't leave room for a bit of dessert sampling perhaps a tartlet or a slice of tiramisu (just $5).
